Thursday, February 25, 2021
Moringa or Drumstick has several health benefits. Believe it or not, the whole Moringa tree from its bark to its leaves has miraculous properties. It is also widely used in Indian cuisines. In our house, we use Drumstick in our daily cuisines such as in Sambhar, or Curry, and also eat its leaves and flowers.
Moringa Leaves |
Apart from its health benefits, Moringa Oil is known as Miracle oil for its amazing nutrients and benefits. It is extracted from the seeds of the Moringa Oleifera tree, in a cold-pressed process. It has a pale-yellow color, and a nutty aroma. You will be amazed to know that this miracle oil is your skin and hair’s best friend.
Drumstick |
- Vitamin A
which helps to build collagen in the skin
- Vitamin E
which is not only anti-inflammatory, but also has properties to strengthen the immune
system, regenerate body cells.
- Vitamin C and Phenols
which act as powerful antioxidants. Vitamin C reduces fine lines, protects your
skin from free radicals, and repairs cells.
- Cytcytokinins which
promote cellular growth and delays the signs of aging.
- Fatty acids
create a barrier and give protection to your skin. Skin gets glowing, plumper,
and smoother in time.
1. Facial Oil:
Moringa oil is excellent to use as a facial oil as it hydrates the skin very well. If you have dry skin or dry patches, this is the food for your skin. Even combination and oily skin people can use it every day without any worry. You can use the oil as it is, after cleansing and toning your skin, or mix a few drops with your favorite moisturizer. This is the way I like to use this oil.
This oil is great to use for a facial massage. It
gives you a glowing, soft, healthy
skin. It heals your scars and helps
reducing pigmentation in your skin.
2. Hair Oil/ Hair Serum:
Mix a few drops of this oil with other carrier oils to give your hair a good massage and spa treatment. If you suffer
from dandruff or dry scalp, this oil will help you solve the issues real soon.
Similarly, you can take a few drops of this oil
and use it as a hair serum after washing your hair. You
can also mix this oil in your Shampoo or Conditioner
to give extra nourishment to your
hair.
3. Body Oil:
Pamper
yourself with a massage with this lightweight,
nutty flavored oil. This nourishes the skin so well and also helps to reduce the stretch marks in time. You
can also put a few drops of this oil in your Bathwater to give yourself a calming pamper session.
4. Makeup Remover:
Are you a fan of Natural oils for removing your Makeup? Then this is a must-have
for you. Switch over from Coconut Oil and start using this as your go-to
product. This oil is so lightweight that it
doesn’t break out your skin and removes your make up like no
one’s business. Whether you have dry skin or oily skin, you will love it
anyway.
5. Anti-aging treatment:
This
Natural oil is superb for treating the signs of
aging. The vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids help to restore your skin cells, and treat skin wounds and scars. This also protects your skin from any damages caused by the environment.
You can definitely use it as your eye cream and as your lip oil as well. No matter what season is in, this oil will not let you down. If you live in extreme humid area, use it as your facial massage oil and wash it off after 30 minutes to get the most beautiful skin.
Personally, I love to use the Kama Ayurveda Organic Moringa Oil which is a beautiful product.
